The early birds

I know how much of a big factor light is in photography but being as it is that I’ve been photographing a lot of families with young kids lately and early mornings tend to get a bit precious when you’ve been up multiple times throughout the night. Ive had to shoot when the sun is well and truly up and the light is a little harsher.
This has pushed me to make photos in more challenging lighting conditions and whilst it is helping me to become a better photographer, I was very excited when Nicola and Jason said that they thought that sunrise would be a good time to shoot. We all got up super early and it was so worth it, this has been my favourite family session yet.
